Use this calculator to work out the required seed spacing for your required seed rate and planting layout. Then refer to the spacing chart to select the correct gear for your seed discs.
Alternatively, you can calculate the population you can achieve knowing the spacing range achievable with your seed discs and machine layout.

If working in a field system rather than a bed system enter your row width as the tractor wheel track and number of lines per bed as 1.
