L&rsquo;objectif est de favoriser la germination, la croissance pr\u00e9coce et la r\u00e9sistance aux stress biotiques et abiotiques. <\/p>\n\n<p>En raison des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques de nombreux biostimulants, dont certains sont des micro-organismes vivants, les m\u00e9thodes de formulation et d&rsquo;application des semences peuvent \u00eatre moins sophistiqu\u00e9es que celles auxquelles les agriculteurs sont habitu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n<p>Les traitements de semences conventionnels sont le plus souvent appliqu\u00e9s sous la forme d&rsquo;un concentr\u00e9 fluide (FS). Celui-ci s\u00e8che rapidement \u00e0 la surface de la semence et n&rsquo;a pas d&rsquo;incidence sur sa fluidit\u00e9 dans les semoirs. En comparaison, les biostimulants sont souvent appliqu\u00e9s sous forme de bouillie, qui peut \u00eatre difficile \u00e0 s\u00e9cher \u00e0 la surface de la semence.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Cela peut \u00eatre probl\u00e9matique pour les cultures \u00e0 petites graines comme la laitue, le panais, l&rsquo;oignon et la carotte. Les traitements biostimulants appliqu\u00e9s sous forme de lisier peuvent entra\u00eener des probl\u00e8mes inattendus de collage des graines dans les semoirs, ce qui nuit \u00e0 l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l&rsquo;uniformit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;ensemencement.
