Our New Home...

After 3 ½ years of being based in Grantham, Stanhay Webb Ltd have moved facilities to a 65,000 sq ft factory in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Purchased in conjunction with their ‘sister company’ Boss Cabins Ltd, both companies have taken joint ownership of the property and moved in during October 2013.

The new property gives us a huge amount of storage area and a much clearer production route, said Niall Wordsworth of Stanhay. We’ve worked closely with our friends in Boss Cabins since both businesses emerged under new ownership in April of 2010, both companies are doing well and sharing this facility into the future allows us to invest in our property while bettering our business. Bourne is well served logistically being close to the A1 and has a wealth of local labour to draw from as our business grows.

The new address can be found on the website.

UK Drill and Spare Part Sales...

Stanhay Webb are pleased to announce that once more they will be looking after the UK dealers and customers on a direct basis. After 3 years of working successfully with Grimme UK to cover the United Kingdom and Irish markets both companies are looking forward to making their next strategic moves, Grimme are due to focus heavily on new product and new markets and Stanhay Webb are positioned to better service the UK dealers and customers. All new drills and aftermarket parts sales will now be controlled ‘in house’ by Stanhay Webb Ltd.

Commenting on the changes, Niall Wordsworth, Director of Stanhay Webb said, ‘Grimme have been a very good partner for 3 years, but for both businesses the market changes, as does the positions of both our companies. Grimme have a lot of new ‘Grimme’ product they wish to focus sales resource on and Stanhay, now almost 4 years since the change in ownership, wish to service the UK for all drill and parts sales direct from our new factory. This is an amicable agreement and both parties wish the other the best, in fact Grimme will continue to represent Stanhay Webb from their depot in Scotland’

The move for Stanhay dovetails with their recent move from their prior leased facility in Grantham, to the 65,000 sq ft factory they recently purchased in Bourne, Lincolnshire

A tough yet exciting and rewarding first year trading...

John Evans and Niall Wordsworth, Directors of Stanhay Webb closed the first years trading of the new Stanhay Webb on 31st March 2011.

It has been tough, exciting but incredibly rewarding they both agreed. This last year, we have achieved more than we expected, both in terms of turnover and operational changes and improvements and that's due to a combination of our suppliers commitments to our plans, the Stanhay Webb team and importantly the support of our customer and distributors.

The sales response has been amazing they both agreed. 'Selling in the current global economy is tough, but our distributors have really gone for it over the last 12 months', said Niall. ' John and I were convinced Stanhay had a great product and the market has reacted to our belief, thanks again to our customers for this last year, but lets keep on going', said Niall.
