Stanhay has recently moved into a new home. Still in Grantham Lincolnshire and retaining all the prior and experienced Stanhay staff and employees the company has moved into a new 30,000 sq metre facility to meet the growing order book and future potential of countries Stanhay is looking to establish distribution networks in.
Taking a month out of production allowed Stanhay to service, clean and repair all tools and machinery and do "the most accurate stock take, the world has ever seen" in additiona to installing a new computer system that handles all production and commercial data. John Evans commented that 'the new factory is a breath of fresh air for all the employees', including himself.
Employees were encouraged to contribute to how they wanted areas of the factory laid out, tool and machinery positioning and the lay out of production stock. The new site is merely 5 years old and well positioned for inbound and out bound shipping as well as being close to Belton Country Park. 'So lunch time now often involves a stroll round the park' said John with a smile.
